Introduction
The first quarter of 2025 has been a year with strategic meetings around the globe including the International Funders for Indigenous Peoples (IFIP) Global Conference in Kenya and 69th Session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women (CSW69) in NYC.
This first quarter has been a period of dynamic growth, innovation, and global collaboration for Wise Education as well. From launching impactful youth programs in Denmark and Kenya to advancing our digital transformation agenda, we have taken significant strides toward our mission of empowering learners through sustainable, inclusive, and future-ready education. This report highlights key milestones, including community-driven initiatives, advocacy efforts, and strategic partnerships, as we continue to shape a world where every child has the tools to thrive.
1. January: Future Shapers Internship Launch in Denmark
Wise Ed kicked off 2025 with the Future Shapers Internship, empowering youth in Denmark to become change-makers in their communities. Key highlights include:
Mentorship & Leadership Development: Youth engaged in workshops on community mobilization, climate action, and social entrepreneurship.
Sports & Community Engagement: Partnered with local CBOs to sponsor after-school sports clubs, fostering teamwork and well-being.
Context-Specific Learning: Interns explored local challenges while learning about Green Smart Villages, our sustainable development model.

2. February: Bridge of Hope Clubs Launch in Kenya
In February, Wise Ed expanded its impact by launching Bridge of Hope Clubs in Kenya, integrating education, sports, and sustainability:
Football & Tree Planting: Kids engaged in sports while planting trees, promoting environmental stewardship.
Digital & Financial Literacy: Youth learned essential digital skills and opened savings accounts, fostering economic empowerment.
Global Citizenship & SEL: Activities included food & culture exchanges, community livelihood training, and teacher sensitization on Social-Emotional Learning (SEL).

3. Preparing for IDOP Event: Showcasing Impact
Wise Ed is gearing up for the International Day of Play (IDOP) with an exciting lineup:
Green Playgrounds & Football Tournaments: Promoting inclusive, eco-friendly play spaces.
Digital Creations & Cultural Showcases: Highlighting youth innovations in STEAM, music, and art.

4. March: Digital Transformation & Global Advocacy

New Special Interest Group (SIG) for SEL: Creating a global community to advance emotional intelligence in education.

This quarter, Wise Ed held strategic meetings with desks across multiple regions to assess local education challenges and co-create solutions. Key outcomes include:
